ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Jayelynn Weinel and my business is Crafty Gurl Creations in Cold Spring, Kentucky! Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone put together that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love. 

I am a mother of three boys and bonus mom for a daughter and have recently become an empty nester for the second time.  I have 2 fantastic grandsons, one of which is Autistic.  Both of them are very creative and I always look foward to spending time with them making cool things.  I spend a lot of time with them on Video chats as they aren't local to where I live in Northern, Kentucky and one of our favorite activities is crafting.  Right now it is markers, coloring, and drawing but soon Cards !!  

I also learned a few years ago that I have developed a neurological disorder called Funtional Neurological Disorder.  That broken down just means my brain sometimes sends mixed or miscommunication to my physical body.  The reason I am adding this is for the purpose of explaining just how theraputic card making or paper crafting can be.  Tapping into the creative part of the brain can be both stimulating, calming, and very freeing.  Feel free to check out some of my videos on my YouTube if you feel I can help someone you love.
